This poem is a Climbing Rhyme, inspired by classical Burmese poetry. This was a challenging and fun form!
My Mickeybear ~ by Marilyn MonREOW
No mancat can compare
To my Mickeybear; tender
Loving care I supply
As his Kittypie. I
Say, "Aye, my dear"
When he appears. Paw
to ear, pure white,
His eyes bright, my
Love alight, my amour.
All his contours please
Me more every day
In every way. So
I say to him: je t'adore.
No mancat can compare
To my Mickeybear; tender
Loving care I supply
As his Kittypie. I
Say, "Aye, my dear"
When he appears. Paw
to ear, pure white,
His eyes bright, my
Love alight, my amour.
All his contours please
Me more every day
In every way. So
I say to him: je t'adore.

Oh, the Climbing Rhyme seems very hard to write! That's a good one you made, too.

I love your climbing ryhme. That looks very difficult. You're a great poet. I'm just a kittie-poet-wanna-be. I haven't been to poetic lately. My bean has been having some down time so when she's not sparked, neither am I. I'm going back to sit with her again while she reads.
Hugs...G
Wow! It's like a rap! You could sell this one to Dr Dre or Busta Rhymes, for sure! Oh, or Missy Elliot!
