Funny Girlcat Thursday

Sometimes I lounge around with the tip of my tongue poking out. Usually it happens when I'm thinking happy thoughts, like of Mickey. *purr*

And sometimes when I sleep, I poke my tongue out, too. Mom runs for the camera because she thinks I look so cute. Humans, who can undertand them? Good heavens, I don't go running for the camera every time Mom sticks out her tongue.

I love having my own blog! Here's a poem for Mickey *swoon*:

My True Love Has My Heart ~ by Philip Sidney

My true-love hath my heart and I have his,
By just exchange one for the other given;
I hold his dear and mine he cannot miss;
There never was a better bargain driven.
My true-love hath my heart and I have his,

His heart in me keeps him and me in one;
My heart in him his thoughts and senses guides;
He loves my heart for once it was his own,
I cherish his because in me it bides.
My true-love hath my heart and I have his.

Congratulations on having your own blog, Marilyn!

Sometimes you just have to hang your tongue out to dry after you've done a wash job.

Hi, Phoebe, and thank you! We live in Tennessee -- mom postdates posts at night sometimes to be "next day" posts.

Thanks, Derby! It's a lot of fun.

*giggle*, thanks Ginger! I think I look a wee bit undignified, but I guess everybody needs to get a little goofy sometimes.

*giggling* at Jake and Bathsheba -- yes, a kitty's tongue can certainly get tired from all our bathing! It's a full time job, isn't it?

My dearest Mickey, I'm so glad you liked the poem. It really spoke to me about you, about us. Love and kisses from your Marilyn!

Hi, Speedy! My mom doesn't stick out her tongue too much when she sleeps *giggle*! But don't tell her I told you that... *wink*

Very cute Marilyn. :) My mom says that she grew up with a cat who used to stick her tongue out fairly often. Her name was Princess, so they would call it "the Princess tongue" whenever a cat stuck their tongue out!

Hi Marilyn, I love your pictures. You brought tears to my mom's eyes, she had a white cat named Ariel who went to the Rainbow Bridge in 2005, and you look a lot like her. She still misses her. Well be back. I'm going to add you to our friends list. Thank you for the compliment on my feet. Congrates on the new blog. It's fun to have one.
Be blessed, Samantha, Tigger and Mom
