Interview Meme!

Fiona and Ali started a great new meme... the Interview Meme! Here's how it works, excerpted from their blog:

The Interview Meme

We are sure there are questions you have wanted to ask another cat but the opportunity never arose, well here is your chance!

Rules:

You can ask one cat a question you have always wanted to know about them, they can choose to answer the question (anycat can decide not to play) and then they have to ask another cat something they would like to know about them. If there is more then one cat on a blog you can only ask one cat, so the other cats can have a chance to get tagged.

Example:

Cat A Question: What is favorite thing to do?
Cat B Answers: Nap
Cat B Asks Cat C: How old are you?

I've been tagged by Jeter, Mickey's adorable little brother. He asked me, "What is your inspiration for such beautiful poetry?"

Jeter, you're so sweet. Thank you for the compliment and for the tag!

The inspiration for my poetry is your brother, Mickey. He's my muse. His love is my sunshine, and my love for him inspires me to gift him with the art form I love most: poetry. I've always loved poetry, but as I grow older and more contemplative, it means more and more to me. I love reading it, thinking about it, writing it. I especially love romantic poetry, and all the more so because of darling Mickey.

Also, my favorite poets inspire me. I read their work and learn as much as I can from it. And here are some of them: Emily Dickinson, Alfred Tennyson, William Shakespeare, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Robert Browning, Omar Khayyam, Walt Whitman, Lord Byron, Pablo Neruda, e. e. cummings, Robert Frost, and William Butler Yeats.

For the Interview Meme, I will tag my Mickeybear: Of the poems, I've written for you thus far, darling, which one is your favorite? Put another way, do you prefer my dreamy side, my whimsical side, or a combination of the two?

Oh, and Mickey -- I haven't forgotten, I am studying on writing you a Rubáiyát! Hopefully soon, if Mom doesn't hog the computer too much, *giggle*.
