Oh my, it has been so long since I have blogged! I've put in appearances on my siblings' blog, but I've really missed this place.

My mom has been so busy, working on her novel. But we Ballicai are careful to make sure she's always under proper snoopervision.

In fact, I often perch on her new computer, which has become one of my favorite sleep spots! It's nice and warm, and if I barf a hairball on it, it's easy to clean up (unlike that confounded Yamaha last year).




Wanted to add: changing the look of my blog was a snap! I simply switched my template to Minima (all my sidebar widgets were maintained when I switched), then I added one of the nifty backgrounds available from here: The Cutest Blog on the Block: Free Backgrounds.

Patience

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a while! Mom has been soooooo busy. So I've been patiently waiting for her help on my blog. Here I am cuddling with Daddy, looking at Mom expectantly.



And over the last week and a half, I've waited and waited and waited and waited. As in Sitting On Mom's Desk and Staring At Her type of waiting.



So here I am! *whew*, Mom! Took long enough.

She says it has become more of a challenge to maintain two kitty blogs, but that she'll do her best to help me here when she can. And when I'm not here, I'll make appearances on The Ballicus Blog, with my siblings.

In case you haven't heard the fabulous news, my little brother MaoMao asked his sweetie Ariel to marry him, and she said yes! So there will be a wedding in the Ballicus family soon *smile*.

Mickeybear, would you like to teleport over and help me stare Mom down? Then we can have a nice snuggle *purrrrrrrr*.

Please give Tidbit's family lots of purrs and hugs -- precious Tidbit went to the Bridge on Saturday. My heart is heavy. She was a dear friend of mine, and she'll be missed by her sweet family and by her many, many friends.

Mom has been so busy lately that we Ballicai haven't gotten to blog nearly as much as we'd like to. I miss my friends, and I miss my darling Mickeybear. So here I am, giving Mom a much-deserved Raspberry!

Mom's been very busy lately, so she hasn't been able to help me blog or do much visiting -- but I wanted everykitty to know I'm thinking about you and I miss you! I'll be back soon, I promise!

And Mickeybear, my darling, I'm still studying ghazals, and I have come up with a nice refrain for the ghazal I want to write for you *smile* and *purrrrrrr.*
