A Pantoum for Mickey

"Aurora Borealis" - by Marilyn MonREOW

My Aurora Borealis
My glowing Northern Light
I drink from sweet love's chalice
And taste of heart's delight.

My glowing Northern Light
I smell the fresh green grass
And taste of heart's delight
Everywhere you pass

I smell the fresh green grass
As I touch your fur so soft
Everywhere you pass
My spirit soars aloft

As I touch your fur so soft
I drink from love's sweet chalice
My spirit soars aloft
My Aurora Borealis.

Mickeybear, darling, I hope you like the poem as much as I enjoyed writing it for you.

Marilyn,
I don't have the words to tell you how beautiful your pantoum is!
I promise to study this poetry genre ... and to try my paw at it.

That was fantastic. Its moving element was also grrraphically vivid forrr me. Did Mickey leave his scent marrrks (calling carrrd) as he passed overrr the grrrass?

(I am sorrry hee, hee--its just that I know what a Mancat likes to do, hee, hee).

Purrrs to the Pantoum!
Jade
